On Thursday, October 28th, the Houston Chapter of ACEDS will be conducting a free virtual Technology Showcase and Trivia Contest from 12:00pm CT to 1:30pm CT. It should be a fun and interactive event showcasing some of the leading eDiscovery technologies in the industry followed by some competitive and fun trivia contests.
You can win a prize for participating in the event– if you know your trivia, that is!
Here’s what you need to know.
There will be two 30-minute sessions – at 12:00pm CT and 12:30pm CT – with two providers in each session, so you can pick the technology that you wish to see at each time. That will be followed by a trivia contest, which will be conducted over the last 30 minutes, with prizes to be awarded to the winners!
Provider Participants in the Technology Showcase
The provider participants that will be showcasing their technology (and information about the technology being showcased, as supplied by the provider participants) is as follows:
Compliance: Introducing Cimplifi: Our client-centric experience and ecosystem offering a comprehensive portfolio of technology-enabled legal solutions—integrating proprietary tools and automated workflows with market-leading software to deliver greater visibility and control in an easy-to-use, end-to-end system. Join Alison Ciaramitaro, Director of Training & Product Development at Compliance. and Compliance during the ACEDS technology showcase to learn more about Cimplifi, our infrastructure-free, curated technology stack that delivers simplified and automated workflows, advanced analytics, and AI, and creates greater transparency and visibility into your data and projects, all with as much or as little professional expert support you need for your team.
Exterro: Exterro E-Discovery Data Management is the sole collection, analysis, review, and production solution on the market that identifies the most important ESI before collection. Those pre-collection analytic capabilities give in-house attorneys the earliest possible access to key documents that can change the course of a matter. With over 50 Data Source connectors we can support most corporate needs for collecting ESI. Exterro’s ability to process ESI in place and send only what’s relevant to review also translates to sharply reduced review costs.
InsightOptix: Evidence Optix (EO) is the first and only technology solution that manages discovery scoping, data source tracking, and proportionality analysis. EO is a powerful solution that addresses the gap between legal hold and collection – where early decisions significantly impact cost and burden downstream. The framework organizes and ranks custodians and data sources to the claims and defenses of a matter, provides centralized documentation of decisioning, and calculates real-time cost projections for budgeting, negotiation, and proportionality arguments.
IPRO: IPRO OPEN DISCOVERY enables search in place with a single interface across all sources, allowing legal teams to gain faster insights on eDiscovery data, even before collection. Using AI and advanced analytics, it enables them to quickly surface what’s relevant for faster review and processing, helping to save time, reduce costs, and improve outcomes.
At each time slot, you can pick the provider you wish to see. When we get closer to the event, registrants will receive a link to attend the sessions for the providers they selected. This will give you a chance to see in-depth demonstrations of two eDiscovery technology solutions!
When we get closer to the event, registrants will also receive information on how to participate in the trivia contest, which will be an online contest that is expected to test a combination of your eDiscovery and general trivia knowledge!
And there will be significant prizes awarded for the top five finishers in the trivia contest, including a standard CEDS certification package worth $1,495!
Thanks to all the providers (including IPRO, of course!) for agreeing to participate in this event! And thanks to ACEDS and the ACEDS Houston chapter (of which I’m a board member) for conducting the event!
